St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), 72-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Stephens upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Foard (Newton, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Foard won 60-52 in their recent non-league bout against Maiden (Maiden, NC)

Next up, the Bears play the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Bunker Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 60-52 non-league loss to Foard (Newton, NC).
