December 28, 2022: Dayton, TX 77535 Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Texas City Stingarees (Texas City, TX), 40-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Dayton upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to La Porte (La Porte, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 15-7. La Porte won 45-29 in their recent non-league bout against Nimitz (Houston, TX)
Next up, the Stingarees play the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots (Baytown, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Texas City will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 44-33 league loss to Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX).
