Texas High School Basketball - Ball overwhelms Texas City

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX) and the host Texas City Stingarees (Texas City, TX), saw Ball's basketball squad wallop Texas City by a tally of 61-40.

With the victory, Ball improves its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Tornadoes host Manvel (Manvel, TX) to confront the Mavericks in a 5A Region III District 18 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 25-7. Manvel won 56-32 in their recent league challenge against La Porte (La Porte, TX)

Next up, the Stingarees confront the Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) in a 5A Region III District 18 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Texas City will attempt to improve on its 10-19 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-18 record after their 58-22 league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX).
