Illinois High School Basketball - Salt Fork crushes Lexington
December 28, 2022: Lexington, IL 61753 Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL), 51-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Salt Fork upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Storm travel to Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Cissna Park won 52-29 in their recent non-league bout against Oakwood (Fithian, IL)
Next up, the Minutemen play the Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL) in a Heart Of Illinois bout, on Monday, January 2. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 42-41 non-league win over Stark County (Toulon, IL).
