Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mohawk Area thwarts Wilmington
December 28, 2022: Bessemer, PA 16112 The Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA), 51-33 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Warriors (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Shaler Area notched a victory over Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA), 55-8, in a non-league test.
The Greyhounds now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Deer Lakes for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Wilmington will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 55-8 non-league loss to Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-7.
