Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Northgate Flames (Pittsburgh, PA), 37-20 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sewickley Academy upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The host Freedom Area (Freedom, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a WPIAL 2A 1 bout on Monday, January 2.
