The Temple Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Rockmart Yellowjackets to 46 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Temple will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 31-25 non-league loss to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.

The Yellowjackets (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Haralson County topped Piedmont (Piedmont, AL), 31-25, in a non-league bout.
