Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Temple Tigers (Temple, GA), 61-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Mt. Zion won 49-36 in their recent non-league bout against McNair (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Villa Rica Wildcats (Villa Rica, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 15. Temple will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 53-43 league win over Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA).
