Virginia High School Basketball - Glenvar knocked off by Northside
December 28, 2022: Roanoke, VA 24019 The Northside Vikings basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Glenvar Highlanders to 42 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Vikings now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Auburn for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Northside will meet a Eagles team coming off a 46-35 non-league win over Abingdon (Abingdon, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.
The Highlanders (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Carroll County ran past Radford (Radford, VA), 41-37, in a non-league contest.
