California High School Basketball - Sonora crushes Golden Valley

Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA), 59-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sonora upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Ripon Christian won 68-36 in their recent non-league bout against Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Golden Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Thunder go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 60-35 non-league loss to Argonaut (Jackson, CA).
