Texas High School Basketball - Zephyr tops Bangs
December 28, 2023: Bangs, TX 76823 Zephyr Bulldogs (Zephyr, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX), 46-33 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Zephyr upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sidney (Sidney, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Sidney lost 63-25 in their recent non-league bout against Albany (Albany, TX)
Next up, the Dragons play the Richland Springs Coyotes (Richland Springs, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Bangs will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Coyotes come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 68-65 non-league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, TX).
