Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Berwick nips Forest City
December 28, 2023: Forest City, PA 18421 Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA), 63-60 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Berwick upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Danville (Danville, PA) to play the Ironmen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Ironmen come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Danville lost 51-45 in their recent non-league bout against Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA)
Next up, the Foresters play the Susquehanna Sabers (Susquehanna, PA) in a Lackawanna 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Forest City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Sabers come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 72-54 non-league loss to Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA).
