Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mountain View nudges Forest City
January 8, 2024: Forest City, PA 18421 In Monday's league outing, the Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA) basketball squad edged the host Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA), by a margin of 39-36.
The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Montrose (Montrose, PA). The Meteors go into the Lackawanna 4 outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Montrose was tipped by Lakeland (Jermyn, PA), 73-56, in a non-league outing.
The Foresters now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Mid Valley for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 11. Forest City will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 65-43 league loss to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-5.
