Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mountain View overwhelmed by Holy Cross
January 22, 2024: Dunmore, PA 18512 The Holy Cross Crusaders basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Mountain View Eagles to 47 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Monday.
The Crusaders now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Forge for a Lackawanna 3 contest on Thursday, January 25. Holy Cross will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 47-36 league win over Mid Valley (Throop, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-4.
The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Elk Lake (Dimock, PA). The Warriors come into the Lackawanna 4 contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Elk Lake triumphed over Forest City (Forest City, PA), 55-44, in a league contest.
