January 18, 2024: Kingsley, PA 18826 In Thursday's league outing, the Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA) basketball squad felled the visiting Lackawanna Trail Lions (Factoryville, PA), by a margin of 60-41.
The Eagles (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 12-2 record. In their last outing, Holy Cross thwarted Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA), 57-42, in a league outing.
The Lions now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a non-league outing on Friday, January 19. Lackawanna Trail will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 58-32 league loss to Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-10.
