Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Blue Ridge overwhelms Forest City
February 8, 2024: Forest City, PA 18421 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA) and the host Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA), saw Blue Ridge's basketball squad wallop Forest City by a tally of 80-33.
With the victory, Blue Ridge improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Raiders host Riverside (Taylor, PA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 12. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Riverside won 40-35 in their recent league challenge against Mid Valley (Throop, PA)
Next up, the Foresters confront the Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA) in a Lackawanna 4 challenge, on Monday, February 12. Forest City will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The Meteors come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 71-60 league loss to Elk Lake (Dimock, PA).
