South Dakota High School Basketball - Bridgewater/Emery topped by White River
December 28, 2023: Emery, SD 57332 The White River Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Bridgewater/Emery Huskies to 42 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lower Brule for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. White River will battle a Sioux team coming off a 75-49 non-league loss to Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD). The Sioux record now stands at 2-3.
The Huskies (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Battlers come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] was defeated by Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD), 67-55, in a non-league contest.
