South Dakota High School Basketball - Canistota tops Bridgewater/Emery
December 19, 2023: Emery, SD 57332 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD) and the host Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD), saw Canistota's basketball squad knock off Bridgewater/Emery by a count of 59-43.
With the victory, Canistota upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Gayville-Volin lost 64-38 in their recent league challenge against Centerville (Centerville, SD)
Next up, the Huskies play the White River Tigers (White River, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Bridgewater/Emery will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 62-54 non-league win over Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD).
