South Dakota High School Basketball - Canistota crushes Corsica/Stickney
December 29, 2023: Canistota, SD 57012 Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Corsica/Stickney Jaguars (Corsica, SD), 59-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Canistota upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Elk Point-Jefferson won 73-37 in their recent non-league bout against Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Corsica/Stickney will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Black Panthers come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 77-47 non-league win over Burke (Burke, SD).
