Arizona High School Basketball - Saguaro beaten by Cactus Shadows

The Cactus Shadows Falcons ran past the host Saguaro Sabercats basketball team by a final score of 64-52 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, January 3. Cactus Shadows will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 7-6 record after their 71-58 non-league loss to Brentwood School (Los Angeles, CA).

With the defeat, Saguaro moves to 4-8 on the year. The Sabercats travel to Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Desert Sky game on Friday, January 5. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 12-3. Mesquite won 63-48 in their recent non-league game against Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ)
