December 28, 2023: Midland, TX 79701 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Del Rio Rams (Del Rio, TX) and the host Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX), saw Del Rio's basketball squad hold off Midland by a tally of 69-62.
With the victory, Del Rio improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Pebble Hills won 71-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Weatherford (Weatherford, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Midland will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Kangaroos come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 71-61 non-league loss to Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX).
