Texas High School Basketball - Weatherford tops Midland
December 29, 2023: Midland, TX 79701 Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX), 75-64 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Weatherford upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Kangaroos travel to Del Rio (Del Rio, TX) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 5-9. Del Rio won 69-62 in their recent non-league bout against Midland (Midland, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 71-61 non-league win over Weatherford (Weatherford, TX).
