The Hayfield Hawks basketball team (Alexandria, VA), was nudged 49-45 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD)

The Lions now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Constitution for a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. Largo will battle a Generals team coming off a 48-45 non-league win over New Town (Owings Mills, MD). The Generals record now stands at 7-2.
