Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Lakeland falls to Mid Valley

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Mid Valley Spartans basketball team scored a good 52-39 triumph over the Lakeland Chiefs.

In their next game, the Spartans meet the Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA) in a Lackawanna 3 match, on Tuesday, January 2. Mid Valley will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Bucks enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 72-36 non-league loss to Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA).

With the defeat, Lakeland moves to 2-5 on the year. The Chiefs host Montrose (Montrose, PA) to meet the Meteors in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 2. The Meteors enter the match with a record of 1-5. Montrose lost 60-50 in their recent league match against Blue Ridge (New Milford, PA)
