December 28, 2023: Midlothian, TX 76065 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars (Midlothian, TX) and the visiting Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX), saw Midlothian Heritage's basketball squad hold off Lamar by a count of 57-54.
With the victory, Midlothian Heritage upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Texas (Texarkana, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Texas won 89-73 in their recent league challenge against Marshall (Marshall, TX)
Next up, the Vikings play the Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Lamar will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 59-48 non-league win over Frenship (Wolfforth, TX).
