December 28, 2023: Adrian, TX 79001 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX) and the host Adrian Matadors (Adrian, TX), saw West Texas's basketball squad wallop Adrian by a tally of 54-15.
With the victory, West Texas improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Comanches travel to Groom (Groom, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Groom won 48-32 in their recent non-league challenge against River Road (Amarillo, TX)
Next up, the Matadors play the Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Adrian will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 66-29 non-league loss to McLean (McLean, TX).
