Texas High School Basketball - Highland Park fells Adrian
December 29, 2023: Adrian, TX 79001 Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Adrian Matadors (Adrian, TX), 41-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Highland Park upgrades its record to 2-14 on the season. The Hornets travel to San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 11-5. San Jacinto Christian Academy lost 42-35 in their recent non-league bout against Sunray (Sunray, TX)
Next up, the Matadors play the McLean Tigers (McLean, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Adrian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 66-29 non-league win over Highland Park (Amarillo, TX).
