The Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) basketball nipped the host Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX), 50-46 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lions (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Port Arthur Memorial was tipped by Clear Creek (League City, TX), 46-25, in a non-league test.
