The Shadow Creek Sharks topped the host Cypress Ranch Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 59-50 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Sharks face the Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 game, on Tuesday, January 2. Shadow Creek will attempt to move on its 13-10 season record. The Bears enter the game with a 14-10 record after their 66-62 non-league win over Fulshear (Fulshear, TX).
