Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) and the visiting Shadow Creek Sharks (Pearland, TX), saw Fort Bend Austin's basketball squad overcome Shadow Creek by a tally of 40-30.

With the victory, Fort Bend Austin improves its record to 20-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Cypress Ranch lost 55-38 in their recent league challenge against Bridgeland (Cypress, TX)

Next up, the Sharks confront the Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Shadow Creek will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record.
