The Waubonsie Valley Warriors basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Downers Grove North Trojans to 42 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schaumburg for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Waubonsie Valley will battle a Saxons team coming off a 64-35 non-league win over Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Saxons record now stands at 14-2.

The Trojans (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Glenbrook South nudged Bartlett (Bartlett, IL), 64-33, in a non-league contest.
