The Independence Falcons basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Golden Valley Bulldogs to 42 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taft for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Independence will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 30-24 non-league win over Tulare Union (Tulare, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-8.

The Bulldogs (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Tulare Union (Tulare, CA). The The Tribe enter the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Tulare Union was defeated by Taft (Taft, CA), 30-24, in a non-league contest.
