The Maury Commodores basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats to 30 in the Commodores non-league victory on Thursday.

The Commodores now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton Roads Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Maury will battle a Navigators team coming off a 42-26 non-league win over Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Navigators record now stands at 3-3.

The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Marlins come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Bayside was routed by Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA), 54-48, in a non-league contest.
