New Mexico High School Basketball - Wingate tipped by Newcomb

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Newcomb Skyhawks basketball team scored a tight 54-48 triumph over the Wingate Bears.

In their next game, the Skyhawks meet the Rock Point Cougars (Rock Point, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 29. Newcomb will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 7-4 record after their 58-42 non-league loss to Aztec (Aztec, NM).
