California High School Basketball - Archbishop Mitty bested by Oakland Tech
December 28, 2024: San Jose, CA 95129 Oakland Tech Bulldogs (Oakland, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA), 72-56 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Oakland Tech advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Mesa (Mesa, AZ) to face the Jackrabbits in a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. The Jackrabbits enter the match with a record of 6-3. Mesa won 74-33 in their recent non-league match against Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ)
The Monarchs now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Head-Royce for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Archbishop Mitty will face a Jayhawks squad coming off a 60-55 non-league win over East Union (Manteca, CA). The Jayhawks record now stands at 5-5.
