Texas High School Basketball - Central Heights can't get by Gilmer
December 28, 2024: Nacogdoches, TX 75965 The Central Heights Blue Devils basketball team (Nacogdoches, TX), was tipped 55-54 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX)
The Buckeyes (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region II District 16 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Carthage was tipped by Hawkins (Hawkins, TX), 38-34, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Woodville Eagles (Woodville, TX) in a 3A Region III District 21 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Central Heights will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record.
