The El Rancho Dons (Pico Rivera, CA) basketball were winner over the host Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA), 55-40 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Dons now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Loara for a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. El Rancho will play a Saxons team coming off a 65-50 non-league loss to Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA). The Saxons record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Paramount falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Nogales (La Puente, CA) to play the Nobles in a non-league bout on Monday, December 30.
