In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Katella Knights basketball team scored a close 46-45 triumph over the El Rancho Dons .

The Knights (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Saddleback (Santa Ana, CA). The Roadrunners go into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Saddleback was tipped by El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA), 63-52, in a non-league contest.
