In Saturday's non-league test, the Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX), by a score of 66-33.

Next, the Steers clash with the Spearman Lynx (Spearman, TX) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 30. Farwell will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Lynx come into the test with a 14-3 record after their 51-32 league loss to Gruver (Gruver, TX).

The Roughnecks (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Lobos come into the non-league test with a 11-12 record.
