The Morton Indians basketball squad (Morton, TX), was crushed 75-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX)

With the victory, Farwell advances its record to 9-0 on the year. The Steers travel to Littlefield (Littlefield, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, December 13. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 5-4. Littlefield won 74-36 in their recent non-league battle against Lockney (Lockney, TX)

The Indians now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ropes for a 2A Region I District 5 battle on Tuesday, December 17. Morton will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 58-31 non-league win over New Deal (New Deal, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
