The New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX), 56-46 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Leopards now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Stockton for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. New Home will play a Panthers team coming off a 68-61 non-league win over Portales (Portales, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Farwell falls to 12-3 on the campaign. The Steers travel to Sundown (Sundown, TX) to play the Roughnecks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Roughnecks go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Sundown lost 70-43 in their recent league bout against Plains (Plains, TX)
