Texas High School Basketball - Littlefield thwarts New Home
December 28, 2024: Littlefield, TX 79339 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Littlefield Wildcats (Littlefield, TX) and the visiting New Home Leopards (New Home, TX), observed Littlefield's basketball team knock off New Home by a score of 61-44.
The Wildcats (11-6) will now prepare for their bout against Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX). The Mules go into the 3A Region I District 2 bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Muleshoe fell by Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX), 66-49, in a league bout.
With the loss, New Home falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Leopards host Tahoka (Tahoka, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, December 31. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Tahoka lost 54-42 in their recent non-league bout against Westbrook (Westbrook, TX)
