The Sandies now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Madisonville for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. Grapeland will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 61-52 non-league loss to Varsity Opponent (, ). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-2.
