Maryland High School Basketball - Lackey can't get by Potomac

Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), 57-56 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Potomac advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Wolverines travel to International High School at Largo (Largo, MD) to meet the Sea Turtles in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A match on Tuesday, January 7. The Sea Turtles enter the match with a record of 0-3. International High School at Largo lost 69-5 in their recent league match against Crossland (Temple Hills, MD)

The Chargers now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westlake for a Southern Maryland match on Friday, January 3. Lackey will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 62-54 non-league loss to Graphics (New York, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-7.
