Game Story

Maryland High School Basketball - Chopticon knocked off by Lackey

January 31, 2025: Morganza, MD 20660

In Friday's league test, the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) basketball squad knocked off the host Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), by a score of 62-52.

Next, the Chargers clash with the Ron Brown Monarchs (Washington, DC) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 3. Lackey will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Monarchs come into the test with a 10-12 record after their 68-27 league loss to Eastern (Washington, DC).

The Braves (8-8) will now prepare for their test against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles come into the Southern Maryland test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, North Point went down by King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD), 74-66, in a non-league test.
