In Wednesday's league test, the St. Charles (Waldorf, MD) basketball squad knocked off the host Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), by a score of 67-48.

Next, the encounter the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a Southern Maryland test, on Friday, January 24. St. Charles will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 11-2 record after their 64-56 league win over Great Mills (Great Mills, MD).

The Braves (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines come into the Southern Maryland test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Westlake was knocked off by McDonough (Pomfret, MD), 55-51, in a league test.
