Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD), 100-93 in a league match.

With the victory, Chopticon advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Braves host Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to face the Panthers in a Southern Maryland match on Monday, January 13. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 1-7. Patuxent lost 91-52 in their recent league match against Northern (Owings, MD)

The Raiders now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Suitland for a non-league match on Monday, January 13.
