December 28, 2024: Mitchell, IN 47446 The Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN) basketball were winner over the visiting White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN), 57-42 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bluejackets now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Orleans for a Patoka Lake bout on Tuesday, January 7. Mitchell will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 62-49 non-league loss to South Ripley (Versailles, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, White River Valley falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Shakamak (Jasonville, IN) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Shakamak won 58-41 in their recent non-league bout against Marshall (Marshall, IL)
