Texas High School Basketball - Wellington bests O'Donnell
December 28, 2024: Wellington, TX 79095 The Wellington Skyrockets basketball team scored 36 points and limited the visiting O'Donnell Eagles to 28 in the Skyrockets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Skyrockets now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Clarendon for a 2A Region I District 2 game on Tuesday, December 31. Wellington will play a Broncos team coming off a 38-32 non-league win over Happy (Happy, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, O'Donnell falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Valley (Turkey, TX) to play the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 18-2. Valley won 55-34 in their recent non-league game against Westbrook (Westbrook, TX)
