Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Summit Academy overwhelms River Valley

The Summit Academy Knights basketball team scored 76 points and limited the visiting River Valley Panthers to 51 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Knights now have a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Avella for a WPIAL 1A 1 game on Friday, January 3. Summit Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 60-46 non-league loss to Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, River Valley falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Marion Center (Marion Center, PA) to confront the Stingers in a Heritage game on Thursday, January 2. The Stingers go into the game with a record of 3-6. Marion Center lost 66-53 in their recent non-league game against Clarion Area (Clarion, PA)
